Department of Mathematics

The department of mathematics came in to existence in 2016 with inception of UG course in mathematics model II computer science Department also offers a course in ‘Applicable mathematics’ as open course for the degree students from other streams. The department has achieved good academic excellence throughout these years. A significant number of students have gone for higher studies and are occupying various posts such as bank, PSC, School teachers etc.

The main learning resource is the college library we are conducting seminar group discussion and quiz competitions for improving the quality of mathematics education. The department has a computer lab including 25 systems with internet facility. Practicals are also gives to this course in the department lab.
