Sree Narayana Trusts Arts and Science College, Pambanar is a centre of higher education affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, situated in Idukki District, Kerala. The College, named after the great Saint and philosopher Sree Narayana Guru, is a blossoming Centre of higher education in Idukki district, Kerala. The college, affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, was established by Sree Narayana Trusts and formally started functioning on 18th July 2016. For its humble beginnings, the college has made steady steps forward and currently the college offers 4 Undergraduate courses; English, Mathematics, Commerce and Economics. The motto of the College is progress through Education.  The college tries to uphold spiritual and moral growth together with intellectual progress. It is expected that when a student leaves the doorway of S.N.T.A.S.C he/she will have become “Life’s Star”- what Gurudeva visualized as the ideal educated being, one who combines in Grace, Love and Mercy.The vision of the college is to build a community of responsible citizens with a global outlook and economic thinking with a strong commitment to ethical, environmental and relentless service for the society with a human face. Since it is situated in the hard core of hill station, we mainly focus on the empowerment of minority students in this remote area. The management believes that education is the most powerful weapon for the development of rural backward communities. The college has taken up  the vision of transforming the society through its enlightened students. We are committed to actively engage with rural community to address its specific needs through education. The vision and mission of the college follows the policies of higher education of the Government, which promotes education opportunities irrespective of any discriminations. It also envisions the empowerment of women and gender equality through education. Keeping the objectives and goals in mind the management and faculties have developed well-defined and carefully formulated policies. The college stands for academic excellence, development of skill, human values and scientific temper.
