Post-metric Scholarship


Eligibility Criteria

a) Should be the First Year student of

  • Plus Two/ UG/ PG/ Ph.D Course of Higher Secondary School/ College/Institutes/ University, which is either a Govt/ Aided/Recognised Unaided Institution.
    OR
  • 11th Class/Technical/ Vocational Course of ITI/ITC Centres affiliated to NCVT.
    OR
  •  Course, other than those listed in under merit-cum-means scholarship scheme. The names of courses listed under Merit-cum-means scholarship are given in See Instructions for details.
 b) Should belong to Minority Community (Muslim/ Christian/ Buddhists/ Sikh/ Zoroastrians or Parsis). c) Should have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous Board/ University Examination. d) The Annual Family Income should not exceed Rs. 2 Lakhs. e) Should not be availing any other Scholarship or Stipend.

Rate of Scholarship

An amount equivalent to Admission and Course/Tuition Fee and Maintenance allowance, subjected to a maximum ceiling. See Instructions for details.

Central Sector Scholarship


Eligibility Criteria

(i) Applicant should be pursuing any Regular Course at Under-Graduate Degreelevel in any recognised Educational Institution, including Professional Coursessuch as Medical, Engineering etc. Students pursuing Parallel/ PrivateRegistration/ Correspondence/ Distance Education courses are not eligible toapply for this scholarship.Parental income Both Father and Mother should not exceed Rs 6 lakhs per annum for the financial year ending March 2013(ii) Applicant should not be availing any other scholarships/ Financial Assistance.(iii) Applicants should not be belonging to the Creamy-layer as defined by theDepartment of Personal and Training in their Notification number36012/22/93 Esst.(SCT) dated 8/11/93 (Annexure IV) and as modified videtheir OM No.36033/3/2004-Esst(Res) Dated: 9/3/2004 (Annexure V) and asmay be modified from time to time.



Rate of Scholarship

Under Graduate Students: Rs.1000/- per month for (Subject to a Maximum ofRs. 10,000/- for an academic year) and Rs. 2000/- per month for Post-Graduatestudies (Subject to a Maximum of Rs. 20,000/- for an academic year), providedthey are selected for Scholarship at UG level.Professional Courses: Rs.1000/- per month for the first three years (Subject toa Maximum of Rs. 10,000/- for an academic year) and Rs. 2000/- per month forthe 4th and 5th years of study (Subject to a maximum of Rs. 20,000/- for anacademic year).

CH Muhammed Koya Scholarship


Eligibility Criteria

1. Should belong to MUSLIM , Latin, Converted Christian community and should be a native of Kerala.
2. Should be a GIRL student studying for the first year of Graduation or Higher courses in Govt./ Aided Institution.
3. Students who got admission to Self financing colleges from merit seat are also eligible to apply for this scholarship.
4. Should have scored 50% or above in the qualifying Examination.
5. Family Annual income should not exceed 4.50 Lakhs.
6. Those who apply for Hostel stipend should be staying in recognized hostels.

Rate of Scholarship

1.Under Graduates: Rs. 4,000/- per annum (3,000 Nos).
2. Post Graduates: Rs. 5,000/- per annum (1,000 Nos).
3. Professional Courses: Rs. 6,000/- per annum (1,000 Nos).
4. Hostel Stipend: Rs. 12,000/- per annum (2,000 Nos).
5. THOSE WHO ARE ELIGIBLE FOR HOSTEL STIPEND WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR SCHOLARSHIP.

State Merit Scholarship


Eligibility Criteria

1. Should be a first year student of Under Graduate or Post Graduate course in Govt/ Aided colleges or University Departments.
2. Should have scored 50% or above in the qualifying Examination.
3. Family annual income should not exceed 1 Lakh. For Exemption of annual income based on merit, please see the notification.

Rate of Scholarship

1. Graduation Rs. 1250/- per annum (300 Nos)
2. Post Graduation Rs. 1,500/- per annum (150 Nos.)

Suvarna Jubilee Scholarship


Eligibility Criteria

1. Should be a first year student of Under Graduate or Post Graduate course in Govt/ Aided colleges or University Departments.
2. Should belong to BPL family.
3. Should have scored 50% or above in the qualifying Examination.

Rate of Scholarship

Rs. 10,000/- per annum.

E-grants


The Scholarship provides financial assistance to students from SC/ST and OBC communities, encouraging them to continue their post secondary education. Under this scheme, students of Kerala receive up to INR 1500, covering a wide range of educational expenses like tuition fees, monthly stipends and special fee reimbursement.

Higher Education Scholarship


The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the meritorious students having family income of less than 4.5 Lacks per annum, to meet a part of their day to day expenses while pursuing higher studies.

Eligibility Criteria

First Year students of undergraduate courses(Science, Social Science, Humanities, Business Studies) in Govt/Aided colleges would avail this scholarship.

a)For ST students Pass in all subjects is required.

b)For SC students 55% marks is required for the courses Science, Social Science and Humanities courses and 60% marks is required for Business studies course

c)For Physically Challenged Students 45% marks in all subjects is required.

d)For BPL/OBC Students 60% marks required for Science Course, 55% marks required for Social Science and Humanities Course and 65% marks required for Business Studies Course.

e)For General students 75% marks required for Science and Business Studies course and 60% marks required for Social Science and Humanities Course.

Snehapoorvam Scholarship


Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Snehapoorvam Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • The applicant must be a resident of Kerala state.
  • The applicant must be an orphan.
  • The applicant must be studying in any government or private school/College in Kerala state.
  • The applicant must belong to below the poverty line.

For children belonging to the APL Category, the annual income must be:

  • Below ₹20,000 for rural areas.
  • Below ₹22,375 or less for urban areas.

The scholarship provides the following incentives to students:
